Story Behind The Wyght Knight Name
The concept of the White Knight dates back to at least the 12th century, when French poet Chetien de Troyes referred to the legendary Lancelot as the Blanc Chevalier (“white knight” in French) in his Arthurian writings.
The modern definition of a White Knight:
• one who comes to the aid of another
•one who comes along side those in need, and
• one who champions the cause of another
For over two decades, Greg Wyght worked to build his aviation career and reputation on the same principles as the “White Knight” of old: “coming along side”, “coming to the aid”, and “championing the cause of others.” For this reason, we have adopted the name Wyght Knight Aviation Consulting, and each Wyght Knight Consultant commits themselves to creating greater value for each client through these same, timeless principles.
